What are facial wrinkle fillers?
Facial wrinkle fillers are substances injected below the skin that decrease the appearance of deep wrinkles and depressed scars, and restore lip volume.

The fillers we use, Juvederm and Restylane, are composed of hyaluronic acid, which is the same molecule your body produces to plump up tissue and help hold in water.

Will fillers work for me?
Fillers can be a very satisfying and worthwhile procedure. An initial consultation (always complimentary) is important to learn about the procedure, determine if you are likely to respond well, and determine the cost.

How are fillers given?
A topical and possibly local anesthetic might be given. Fillers are very slowly injected just below the skin with a tiny needle. Ice and mild pressure may be applied afterward.

What about aftercare?
You can usually do anything except vigorous exercise that day. We usually do a follow-up visit in a couple of weeks to see how you're doing.

Who performs the procedure?
Dr. Sinsky does all the consultations and filler procedures.  Having personally done hundreds of filler procedures, you can be confident in his judgment and technique.

What are the risks of fillers?
There is a slight possibility of a visible lumpiness in the treated area, but this can usually be massaged away. More common is a mild redness, swelling, and possibly itching in the treated area for about a day.

Are there age limits?
We treat women and men over 18 years of age with fillers, and younger patients with unique needs and parental consent.
