What is cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy is a tried and true safe, effective way to remove unwanted benign moles, skin tags, seborrheic keratoses (those waxy rough spots that some call “barnicles”), warts, etc.

How is cryotherapy done?
A blunt cryotherapy probe is simply touched to the lesion to carefully freeze it, leaving the surrounding skin largely untouched. It is so precise, in fact, we are able to remove skin tags on eyelids.

Will cryotherapy work for me?
This simple procedure is almost always very successful. Sometimes more than one treatment is needed for larger lesions and warts.  Any part of the body can usually be treated.

Is it safe?
After treating thousands of skin lesions with cryotherapy we have never had a significant complication. There is a small chance of a permanent light or brown spot or a small scar at the site of treatment, but we have never personally had a patient experience this.

Is there downtime?
Downtime is minimal. The treated spot will form a scab and drop off in a few days.

What ages can be treated?
We treat women and men over 18 years of age, and younger patients with unique needs and parental consent.

Who performs the procedure?
Dr. Sinsky personally performs these treatments.
